Into the darkness

According to the Renal Support Network, there is currently legislation before both the House and the Senate intended to improve access to Medicare benefits provided for patients with end-stage renal disease (ESRD), provide public awareness and education programs, and help ESRD patients manage their illness while undergoing dialysis or waiting for a transplant.

Don't you think it would be a great idea to locate your Congresscritters and tell them to get on the stick and pass this?

Of course it is! So what are you waiting for?

Just another (important) piece of the constellation of stuff that keeps Alik and Will and Frankie and Nykki and all the rest of us crazy medical activist folk busy on Capitol Hill, state capitols, Houses of Delegates, and everywhere else.

On wards, in labs, on the legislatural floor -- we'll take the battle anywhere and everywhere, anytime, any place, it takes to get the job done. And we couldn't do it -- any of it -- without everyone backing us up at home. :-)
